For the best tanning results:

Before your tan:

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate well before your appointment. This is key to an even result. Shower, shave, and wash with an exfoliating mitt, ideally the day before, or at least 4 hours prior to your appointment. We recommend the Dermasuri mit, which we sell in studio but can also be found online or at Target.

Arrive with clean skin. No lotion, deodorant, makeup, perfume or oils. These can block the tan from developing evenly.

A spray tan should be the last beauty appointment. Schedule waxing, nails, lashes, massages etc beforehand.

Wear loose, dark clothing and open toed shoes after your tan. You can wear our sticky feet home. Sweatpants and a sweatshirt are best. Avoid tight fitted clothing such as jeans, leggings, socks and dresses. If the weather is forecasting rain or snow, bring an umbrella and wear protective layers.

After your tan:

Wait 8–12 hours before rinsing unless you booked a rapid tan, which can be rinsed in 1–5 hours. Avoid sweating, water, lotion, and skin contact during this time. We also offer a clear tanning solution with no bronzer.

After rinsing, use a gentle, water-based body wash and pat dry. Avoid harsh soaps and oils.

Moisturize twice daily to keep your tan even and long-lasting.

Wear loose clothing until after your first rinse and avoid anything tight that could cause marks.

Your hands and face will fade faster, so keep skincare gentle. Avoid exfoliating products, chlorine, and long hot showers to extend your tan.

Always wear oil-free sunscreen. Your spray tan does not protect against UV rays.
